1. Name the events you will book first

Weddings and socials want easy guest flow and pretty light. Work events often want a clean brand look. Big open rooms stress light and floor space. Pick the booth that matches your next ten jobs, not a trend reel.

2. Measure your van and storage

If it does not fit twice in a weekend, it is the wrong kit. Portable on paper is useless if you hate loading it.

3. Decide print vs digital early

That choice drives printer weight, supplies, and what can break mid-party. Have a backup plan either way.

4. Ask what “package” really means

Camera or capture path. Screen. Light. Cases. Software path. Training. Support. If any of those are “you figure it out,” price the time you will spend figuring it out.

Our PBI 12 starts at $5,999. Cloee is $5,250, and the Cloee DSLR is $8,999. If you want a booth plus coaching, a website and other extras, our business packages start at $10,000. Can I finance a photo booth or pay over time?

What comes with the booth?

It depends on the model. The PBI 12 comes with a DSLR, a 12-inch touch screen, Darkroom software, a DNP printer with a starter kit for 700 prints, stick props and free web design. Mirror 3 comes with a DSLR, a ring light, software and a printer with a starter kit. Cloee comes with a ring light, speakers, a webcam, a computer with the software loaded, and a travel case.

What warranty and support do I get?

The PBI 12 includes our 1-year PBI warranty, and if we can't fix your booth, we ship you a replacement at no cost. Every booth we sell comes with lifetime USA tech support. Want more coverage? Extended plans cover failures and accidents. They're $995 for 2 years, $1,995 for 5 years, or $3,499 for lifetime, per booth.

What software and printer does it use?

The PBI 12 runs Darkroom / Photo Booth Solutions software on a Microsoft Surface Pro and prints on a DNP professional printer. Cloee runs on a desktop computer with the software already installed. You own a copy of the software and pay no monthly app fee. Mirror 3 includes photo booth software and a printer with ink and paper to start.

Is it hard to set up?

No. One person can set up Cloee. The PBI 12 breaks into 6 pieces and takes about 10 minutes to set up or take down, with no tools. Mirror 3 moves in one piece. Practice at home a few times before your first event. Then you can teach a helper the same steps every time.

Should I get an iPad booth or a DSLR booth?

A DSLR gives sharper photos in dark rooms, and that matters when the DJ dims the lights. The PBI 12 and Mirror 3 both use a DSLR. iPad setups cost less to start, but many apps charge a monthly fee. Cloee is a middle option. It uses a computer and webcam instead of an iPad, with no monthly fee, and it also comes in a DSLR version.

Can a photo booth really pay for itself?

It can. Our profit numbers page shows that most rentals bring in $500 to $1,500 per event, with net margins of 30% to 45%. Most operators earn back the first buy in 6 to 12 months. To check this for your town, divide the booth price by what you keep after costs on each event. That tells you how many events it takes to pay off the booth.

Can I return a booth if it's not right for me?

No. Our return policy says all sales are final. That's why we'd rather talk before you buy. Tell us the rooms you want to book, your van size, and whether you want prints. We'll point you to Cloee, Mirror 3 or the PBI 12, so you buy the right booth the first time.
